The stoning of Soraya M.

Trapped in an isolated Iranian town, a French reporter is approached by Zahra, a woman who has a tormenting story to tell about her niece (Soraya) along with the bloody conditions of her death the day earlier than today... As the reporter turns on his tape recorder, Zahra takes us back to the start of her story which involve Soraya's partner, the restricted fraud mullah, and a town all as well too easily led down a path of dishonesty oppression, and hysterics. The women, uncovered of all civil rights and devoid of alternatives, graciously face up to the devastating desires of dishonest men who use and neglect their rights to express disapproval of Soraya, a naive but problematic wife, to an unmerited and torturous death. A dreadful and real failure, it exposes the dark command of multitude laws, insulting rules, and the absolute need of human rights for women. The last and only hope various gauge of justice lies in the hands of the reporter who must run away with the story and his life so that the humanity know the exact truth of Soraya’s death.
