Watchmen

This movie is set in an alternating 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the foundation of everyday’s general public and the Doomsday Clock which charts the USA's anxiety with the Soviet Union. When one of his ex- colleagues are murdered, the washed up but no less indomitable masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to reveal a stratagem to kill and bring into disrepute all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former who is a fighting legion of a ragtag gang of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers, Rorschach glimpses a widespread and disturbing scheme with links to their shared past and cataclysmic cost for the upcoming days and their duty is to watch over the civilization... but the question is: “Who is watching the Watchmen?”
